A LONG HISTORY IN DOWNTOWN PICTON
Restored from years of neglect, the House of Falconer now lives as a guest residence — part historic home, part creative space, shaped by the people who pass through.
Alex begins with the structure — not imposing, but listening. He preserves what holds weight and reworks what doesn’t, treating the bones — their craft, material integrity, and embedded knowledge — as inherently valuable.
The result feels composed over time — grounded, materially honest, and fully alive.

Alex is the creative mind behind Angeline’s Inn and House of Falconer. Working in dialogue with the lived history of place through preservation and adaptive reuse, stewarding the evolution of historic spaces with a bold, instinctive approach to colour and a curated, playful mix of collected design — where reinvention is led with intention and a sense of play.

Adam Bolton is the steady hand behind Angeline’s Inn and House of Falconer — part General Manager, part Culinary Director, part wellness lead.
A former musical theatre performer turned movement and meditation teacher, Adam has been teaching since 2007, blending classical yoga with a deep study of anatomy and biomechanics. That grounded, mechanics-first approach now shapes how he runs the Inns: thoughtful, intentional, and built on care.
In the kitchen, his philosophy is simple — gather people, cook with the seasons, and let good food do what it does best. Made-from-scratch, farm-informed, and deeply satisfying.
Calm presence. Sharp execution. Always rooted in connection.
